Fashion Design Summer School
The characteristics of a Fashion Designer are creativity, the ability to create innovative products, but also the sensitivity to understand trends and propose products in line with the needs of the reference market. The Summer Course in Fashion Design provides the basis for a first approach to this profession.
Through the acquisition of manual drawing, creative research and collection design tools, participants will get to know the profession of fashion designer in practice.
What will you learn
Week 1
Starting from manual drawing lessons, the Summer Course in Fashion Design will lead to the analysis of the fundamental principles for the development of a fashion collection: silhouettes, graphic colors, fabrics and accessories. Relevant importance will be given to the creative research methodology and trends.
Week 2
Participants in the Summer Master in Fashion Design will develop the design of a small fashion collection. The study will start from an inspiration linked to a selected trend theme. All members will prepare a portfolio or a final collection consisting of moodboard, color chart, material folder, illustrations and technical drawings.

Duration: 2 weeks (40 hours)
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 9.30 to 1.30 pm
