Intensive course

The intensive course in Fashion Design, allows you to acquire, in just one year, the main theoretical concepts and practical skills necessary for the creation of the professional figure of the Fashion Designer.

Compared to the three-year course in fashion design, the latter is suitable for those who want to absorb in a short time all the culture inherent to fashion that the Fashion Designer needs to carry out his work, as well as the essential practical techniques to be applied on the field. 

This intensive course can be followed in Italian or in English.

Here is what you can study and learn thanks to our intensive course in fashion design:

  • understanding the fashion design process;
  • male and female basic figure drawing techniques;
  • the development of mood boards and color charts
    creative research and fashion trends;
  • study of materials and fabrics and their applications;
  • model design;
  • design of men’s and women’s clothing collections, which includes: creative research, color chart, mood board, illustrations, technical data sheets of the individual items;
  • fashion marketing;
  • analysis of international fashion and costume history;
  • digital illustration using Photoshop and Illustrator programs;
  • Creation of a portfolio and final collection.

Admission requirements

Our ideal candidate

The course is open to all high school graduates who wish to develop their talent and learn the profession of Fashion Designer, whether they have a background in the field of fashion or are approaching this world for the first time to cultivate their own dream.


The course is limited.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of:

  • secondary school or vocational qualification
  • age over 18
  • orientation interview (telephone or in person)

Costs and registration

The total cost of the intensive course in Fashion Design is determined by the following items:

Registration fee: € 1.200

Tuition fee: € 7,500 to be paid by 07/10/2023

Possibility of payment in installments of the zero-rate fee with a Deutsche Bank loan.

Exams and certification


The exams will be carried out in the following ways according to the types of subjects:

Written or oral exams (theoretical-cultural subjects);

Written and elaborate reports (required in some study areas);

Practical tests (creative, project and laboratory subjects). The intensive course includes a single exam session at the end of the course.

Presentation of a thesis in front of a Commission composed of internal and external teachers at the end of the annual course in fashion design.


The course is accredited by the Lombardia Region. At the end of the course, after one or more final tests, the certification (Certificate of competence) is issued in accordance with the law 19/2007.

The Certificate of Skills issued with the Lombardia Region logo is valid in accordance with the law throughout the country and through the EQF (European Qualification Framework) system throughout the European Union. Outside the EU, certification is recognized on the basis of agreements between the EU / Italy and individual states or international organizations.
